How Do I Start Working With Ginwen Wear?

Starting a custom jacket project with Ginwen Wear involves six clear steps: submit an inquiry, share your design specifications, develop and approve samples, confirm the bulk order, complete production, and arrange shipping. The entire process from first contact to shipment typically takes 45 to 90 days depending on style complexity, fabric availability, and order quantity. First-time clients can place orders starting from 50 pieces per style.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Send your initial inquiry through the Contact Us page or the Send Inquiry form. Include as much information as possible: jacket type (down, puffer, varsity, bomber), estimated quantity, target market, and any specific requirements. Our team typically responds within 24 hours on business days.

Step 2: Design and Specification Discussion

Once we receive your inquiry, an account manager is assigned to your project. We will discuss your design requirements, fabric preferences, sizing specifications, branding method, and budget expectations. If you do not have a technical specification sheet, our design team can help translate your ideas into production-ready specs.

Step 3: Sample Development

After design details are confirmed, Ginwen's sample team produces a sample jacket for your approval. Sample development takes 7 to 15 business days depending on complexity. Sample costs range from to per style and are typically deducted from the bulk production invoice if the order proceeds.

Step 4: Sample Approval

You review the sample for fit, fabric handfeel, construction quality, and overall appearance. If adjustments are needed, we make revisions and send a revised sample. Most projects require 1 to 2 sample rounds before final approval.

Step 5: Bulk Production

Bulk production typically takes 30 to 45 days for standard orders. During production, your account manager provides regular progress updates. In-line and final inspections are conducted according to AQL 2.5 standards.

Step 6: Shipping and Delivery

Ginwen offers FOB from Chinese ports or DDP door-to-door to US and EU addresses. We handle all export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and compliance declarations.
